1. Overview
Because ElectricalGrunt Works LLC provides quote-based work, custom projects, 3D printed parts, woodworking, electronics builds, repair support, and evaluation services, refunds and cancellations depend on the type of work and the stage of the project.
2. Quote Requests
Submitting a quote request is free unless a separate evaluation, design, diagnostic, or consultation fee is agreed to.
3. Deposits
Some projects may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits may be applied toward the final project cost. Deposits may become non-refundable once materials are purchased, parts are ordered, design work begins, printing starts, fabrication begins, or labor has been performed.
4. Custom and Made-to-Order Work
Custom electronics builds, custom woodworking, made-to-order 3D printed parts, prototypes, modified parts, and one-off custom items may not be refundable once work begins or once the item is completed according to the approved quote or project details.
5. Diagnostic and Evaluation Fees
Diagnostic, evaluation, inspection, and consultation fees cover time spent reviewing the project or item. These fees do not guarantee repair and are generally not refundable once the evaluation has started.
6. Cancellations
Customers should request cancellation as soon as possible. If work has not started and no materials or parts have been purchased, cancellation may be available. If work has started, the customer may be responsible for materials, ordered parts, design time, labor, and other costs already incurred.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item is damaged during shipping or appears incorrect, contact ElectricalGrunt Works LLC as soon as possible with photos, packaging details, and a description of the issue. Available remedies may depend on the item, shipping carrier, project terms, and whether the item was custom-made.
